Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Attorney Sarah K. Elyaman is proud to be a “true Floridian”.  Sarah is 1 of 3 siblings.  Born to her Egyptian native parents, Sarah is part of a family that believes in working hard and taking care of others.  With her mom working as family matriarch and her father a successful Pharmacist, Sarah was encouraged very early to study and care for others. After graduating high school, Sarah had her heart set to attend the University of Florida.  Boasting an amazing educational career to include a master’s in taxation and her Juris Doctorate from the Levin College of Law, she is well equipped to tackle the legal issues that surround her passion, helping our most vulnerable population, our seniors! After graduating from the University of Florida, Sarah knew where her passion would take her.  Starting a new legal firm from the ground up, meant a lot of work and responsibility but it also meant Sarah could follow her dreams.  Sarah is now the proud founder and principal attorney at Absolute Law Group. Now several years later, Sarah has successfully built a practice that has 3 office locations, over 15 team members and hundreds of satisfied clients.  With a specific niche for education, Sarah has added free community education to her already impressive resume.  As an accomplished speaker, Sarah has provided free education to several hundred seniors and community professionals.  Our practice focuses on aspects of Elder Law services.  This includes Estate Planning, Wills/Trusts, VA Aid and Attendance, Long term care pre-planning and Probate and Guardianship. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys traveling and being the best mom to her young and handsome son, Kaled.

Diana grew up in a suburb of Jacksonville, Florida and attended University of Florida for both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree.  Throughout Diana’s academic and professional career, she has been driven by a desire to help others, which eventually led her to exploring a legal career.  While in law school at University of Miami, she interned with a variety of public interest organizations, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office, and University of Miami’s Children & Youth Law Clinic.After living and working in Miami for 7 years, Diana decided to move back to the Central Florida area.  As an associate with Absolute Law Group, Diana is excited to offer a compassionate perspective on estate planning, as well as guide clients through probate and guardianship proceedings. Outside of the office, Diana enjoys reading, weightlifting, rock climbing, and watching Jeopardy daily.

Susie brings over 20 years of experience in client services, long-term care and strategic development to the team at Absolute Law Group.  With a special focus on client advocacy and expert knowledge in healthcare transitions, Susie is able to help our clients through very challenging health transitions and events.  Her personal service to our clients and our team is the reason our clients have comfort knowing they are being treated as if they are our own family.  Susie is married to her husband, Curt Carey and they live in Beverly Hills, FL.  Curt is retired from 30 years of service to our country and currently works at a bombing range in East Ocala.  They spend their days enjoying the outdoors and their 4 wonderful grandkids.

Sabrina is from the San Francisco Bay Area and received her BS from San Diego State University. She relocated to Florida after meeting her husband while traveling for work and currently lives in Ocala. Her background in Legislative Affairs and Human Resources and her experience in staffing for companies of all sizes led her to realize that her combination of people and organizational skills is an asset in various work settings. Sabrina’s corporate experience includes creating effective teams, managing projects from concept to final result, and working effectively with every level of stakeholder. At Absolute Law Group, Sabrina uses her unique skill set daily to further the law firms mission.  When she’s not at work, you will find Sabrina watching hockey and golf and spending time with her husband Rich.

Ross is a Certified Paralegal at Absolute Law Group. He grew up on the Connecticut Shoreline and moved to Florida in 2016 to start new adventures and to escape the cold, snowy Connecticut winters. Throughout his life, his parents taught him by their example to help others who are going through difficult times. Because of that example, he developed a desire to help others also, and to do that he became a paralegal. Initially while living in Connecticut, Ross started out in another area of law, but found out after moving to Florida and joining Absolute Law Group that he really enjoys getting to assist clients with estate planning, elder law, probate, and guardianship needs. With Absolute Law Group, he has been able to be part of a team that has helped many families in Central Florida as they are navigating difficult times in their lives. Anyone that gets to know Ross quickly finds out that he is not ashamed to admit that he is a bit of a geek. During his downtime, you’ll more than likely find him listening to music, binge watching police procedural or sci-fi TV shows (he’s a huge Star Wars and Star Trek fan - yes, you can be both), playing video games, or visiting Disney with friends.

Ann-Michelle joined Absolute Law Group in 2022 as a Senior Paralegal in our Ocala office. She handles our Guardianship cases and brings over 15 years of paralegal knowledge and experience to our firm. Her background includes an Associates in Science degree in Paralegal Studies and an Associates of Arts degree in General Studies from the College of Central Florida. Ann-Michelle was born and raised in Ocala, Florida and is a mother to four children, all of whom are now amazing adults. In her spare time, Ann-Michelle enjoys staying active through her early morning spin bike rides, traveling with her husband of 34 years, and being “Mimi” to her four beautiful grandchildren.

Kara leads our long-term care division of our team, where we specialize in finding solutions for their long-term care needs and giving them hope for the future. Kara is native of Ocala, Florida and married to an Army Veteran with three beautiful children. Kara has worked in the legal field for over 15 years.  She received her Associates of Arts in Legal Assisting from Central Florida College in 2006. Kara truly has a passion for her community and neighbors.  Kara loves finding solutions for her clients and gives them hope for the future.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Malissa is Guyanese born; she is the third of four siblings, she had a humble upbringing; her parents always taught her to be great at what she does, no matter the job, and lets her work speak for itself. She lives by that motto to this day. She migrated to Canada as a young adult in search of her dream; instead, life happened; she got married and had two beautiful children. Though she lived in Canada for many years, she still could not get used to the extreme cold weather, so she relocated to Florida. Her passion for Elder Law grew from past employment experience and the smiles on the client’s faces; knowing we are there to help them through a complex process is worth going to work every day. Here at Absolute Law Group, she is one of the Medicaid Specialists. She enjoys working with this talented and compassionate group of people. She is a student at Rasmussen University, soon to graduate with her Paralegal Associates. She plans to further her studies in the legal field. During her spare time, she enjoys fishing, going to theme parks with her youngest, and cuddling on the couch with a good movie.

Ashlee was raised here in Ocala, and she is the Client Communications Specialist in our Ocala location. She earned her Associates Degree in Legal Studies from the College of Central Florida and just recently graduated from Rasmussen University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Services. In addition to her position here at Absolute, Ashlee also works as a Family Support Worker with Kid Central, Inc., where she has the privilege of ensuring children and families are properly cared for on a daily basis. Some of her many passions are learning new things and helping people through many different avenues. When she is not working,  Ashlee enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and reading books.

Shannon is passionate about assisting families during some of their most difficult times. For over two years, Shannon took care of her Aunt that had dementia; her firsthand knowledge helps her to be compassionate and supportive of the clients she works with. Shannon has an Associate of Science in Health Information Technology from College of Central Florida. Shannon has expanded her education by completing the Professional Guardianship Course. Shannon is married with one beautiful daughter. During her off time, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family while living life to the fullest.

Paige is a true Florida native and grew up in the Central Florida area.  Paige is currently in her 13th  year serving our country  in the Florida National Guard as a Medical Laboratory Sergeant. This has lead to several activations that include multiple hurricane state of emergencies and Presidential Inauguration.  Paige received her AS in Health Science Laboratory Technology from George Washington University.  She enjoys refurbishing second hand items, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her 3 young, spunky boys and Husband. Paige is passionate about helping others and uses her experience in the National Guard to assist our clients with their VA Aid and Attendance claims.

Mackenzie was born in South Florida and moved to Central Florida a year ago, she is one of our Client Communication Specialists. She currently attends the College of Central Florida getting her degree in Paralegal Studies. From a young age she always knew she wanted to work in the legal field and is super excited to be a part of the Absolute Law Group Team, gaining knowledge and experience and being able to help others through their difficult times. Aside from legal studies her other passion is horses, she has been riding and competing for 17 years now, in between work and school she competes at rodeos and trains horses for herself and other people.
